Action Search Bar
Command palettes and search bars for real apps, with scopes, typed filters and slash commands.

One field for actions, pages and people. Scope tabs carry live counts, and typing >, # or @ jumps to a scope. Actions that need a value, like a new name or an email, ask for it in the bar instead of opening a dialog, and a finished action leaves a receipt with Undo.

The search field above an issue list, where filters are typed. status:review becomes a token, a bare value like "maya" offers the filter it belongs to, and every suggested value shows how many issues it would leave. Click "is" to flip it to "is not", or the label and avatar in a row to filter by them. Backspace selects the last token before removing it.
Slash Command MenuNew, Oct 16
A chat composer with slash commands. Type / to pick one, and a hint bar spells out its arguments, fills each in as you type and marks the one you're on, while the menu offers values for it: people, times, points. Enter runs it once every argument is there and posts the result to the thread, including a poll people can vote on.
